Mila Kavelaris wins National Freedom 250 Art Contest

Congratulations to 2025-26 student, Mila Kavelaris, who was selected as a (5th grade) upper elementary school winner of the National Freedom 250 Art Contest! A panel of artists and educators evaluated entries based on age-level artistic excellence and technical skill, creativity and innovation, relevance to the Freedom 250 submission requirements, and clarity and meaning of the artist statement. Mila was the only winner chosen from the state of Wisconsin!
