Mila Kavelaris wins National Freedom 250 Art Contest

Congratulations to 2025-26 student, Mila Kavelaris, who was selected as an upper elementary school (5th grade student) winner of the National Freedom 250 Art Contest! She was chosen by a panel of artists and educators and was the only winner from the state of Wisconsin. Panelists evaluated entries based on age-level artistic excellence and technical skill, creativity and innovation, relevance to the Freedom 250 submission requirements, and clarity and meaning of the artist statement.
